Hello everybody. I'm new here, actually, I have visited Deviantart for along time.
I love many your art work in many genre, although my favourite is vector. I'm really total newbie, so I alway need your help and your candid advice. Thank you.

About this vector work, base from a pict I extract from an issue of Digital Camera World Magazine (I don't know the author). This is my first portrait vector art, so the girl I draw looked different than the original, hi hi. But fortunately her face not bad (???). How do you think about this?

I used Illustrator CS, I spent about month (at free time, but it's too long) to complete.
To draw (almost) the blur, and shadow I using blend tool. I did not use mesh tool, it's difficult for me

A beautiful drawing! The hair is spectacular. Good work on the eyes too. Her neck and her clothes could use a little more detail.
