Linux has many dictionary programs, but I think there are only 2 program that equivalent to useful Windows's Babylon dictionary, they are LightLang and Stardict I choose Lightlang because Stardict's rather messed, some features I like such as integrated online-translations don't work, but Google text-translator in Lightlang work very good. Dictionary databases can be download from: ftp://ftp.etc.edu.ru/pub/soft/for_linux/lightlang/dicts/ and http://lightlang.org.ru/ll/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=3&thread_id=25
